Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a lovely fiance called JP and a frightened father Henry. The majority of people know me via my Instagram @annephung. I document my life - the highs, the lows and everything in between. When I was just 1 1/2 years old My family and I immigrated to America. If it wasn't due to the dedication of my parents, I may not have been here to share this life with people like you. To give them an opportunity to live a prospering future, I aimed on achieving success and put in the effort to get there. I had a set plan in my life that was to go to college graduate land a corporate job, marry, purchase a house and have kids. That was my ideal of what success would look like. However, life was not so keen on my plans. My corporate job in 2013 was something I dreaded. Status and money did not bring me joy. I believed that I was living a solitary life to earn a paycheck. The year 2013 was when I discovered my love was fitness. I also liked socializing and being able to aid other people. On the path towards this new direction in life, I started to find private training. This year I will celebrate my 7th Anniversary. In 2014 I began my own business. In this field, there are not many Asian females. As an instructor, my aim is to encourage people to live a healthy and enjoyable life by establishing sustainable lifestyles that cater to the individual's goals and needs. Also, I want people to feel empowered to achieve their goals and achieve anything they desire in life. While my professional life was taking off, I was struck by one of the biggest losses in my life- the passing of my mom. After an eight-year struggle with Scleroderma, she is now resting in Heaven. I am forever grateful to her and continue to remember her in my mind and in my heart. It's amazing how the world will teach us the exact lesson we need, even when we don't realize that it is there. The loss of my mother changed me so much and I think she was the one who gave me a second chance at life. Her passing in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was the chance to create with a fresh start. To me, it was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. The 30's are the only that I truly feel like that I'm alive. My story is made available to you so that I can talk about my experience and thoughts. It will allow you to know you're not alone. You are capable of getting anything you'd like in your life. Therapy is necessary as is regular. The health of a person is the most important wealth. I pray that you live your life to the fullest and end it without regrets, as death is the sole thing that is promised to us in our life.
